 Profile

The most prolific bowler in Perth's grade cricket for the past two seasons, Tim Macdonald earned a Western Australia contract and made his first-class and Twenty20 debuts last summer. His Pura Cup outing did not bring any wickets but he was tight and effective in the shorter format. However, Macdonald surprisingly switched to Tasmania for 2007-08, despite the Tigers' strong list of fast bowlers, as he hoped the conditions at Bellerive Oval would help his natural ability to swing the ball.
