A fast bowler who has suffered with injury in recent seasons, Rob Cassell played all of his senior cricket for Victoria in 2002-03. In two Pura Cup matches he earned seven wickets and he also appeared in four ING games. Despite strong form in the Melbourne club competition, he could not break into the state team again and lost his Bushrangers contract in 2007.
