Profile
Steady keeping, improving batting and a knowledgeable cricket brain promoted Minors to vice-captain. His batting excelled as he matured, particularly when top-scoring in a victorious debut against Canada in Trinidad. He came in with his side struggling at 73 for 6 in pursuit of 153 and hit a measured unbeaten 46 from 90 balls. As a result he was promoted from No. 7 to opening the batting with his old friend Clay Smith, a challenge he has relished. He announced his retirement after the 2007 World Cup.
