Profile
Ramesh Nagdev was an attacking batsman who opened the innings with Sunil Gavaskar for Indian schools against the London schoolboys team in 1965-66 before going on to have a short Ranji Trophy career with Gujarat. His one taste of international opposition came when he played for West Zone against Bill Lawry's Australians in Pune. He still holds the Bombay Schools record for the highest individual score in the Giles Shield tournament for senior boys (427 made in 1963-64). Cricinfo staff
