Prizemoney and Awards

The Australian Cricket Board has provided a sponsorship pool of $189,000 for the 1997-98 Carlton & United One-Day Series. The winning team in the 1997-98 competition will receive $100,000 while the runners-up will receive $50,000. The third team in the series will receive $25,000.

Man of the Match: For each of the 12 qualifying matches in the lead-up to the finals, the Man of the Match will receive $1000 and a trophy provided by tournament sponsors Carlton & United Breweries (CUB).

Man of the Match (Finals Series): The outstanding player in each finals game will be awarded $1250 and a trophy presented by CUB.

Man of the Series: The outstanding player of the 1997-98 series, voted on by the umpires and media representatives, will receive a prize package to the value of $25,000 featuring a Honda Valkyrie Tourer motorcycle.

All amounts are given in Australian currency.
