Ajinkya Rahane and Tanmay Srivastave continued their dazzling form on the New Zealand tour, allowing India Under-19 to post a comfortable 67-run win in the third one-dayer at Lincoln. The victory enabled India to clinch the three-match series 2-1 after the four-day games had finished level at 1-1.

Rahane ended the tour with two half-centuries and a couple of hundreds. His last knock, a 125-ball 110, included 11 fours and three sixes and kickstarted India's innings after they were asked to bat first. He received good support from Srivastava, who notched up his second century of the tour. His was a more sedate knock, spanning 165 deliveries, including 12 fours and a six. Virat Kohli, the Delhi middle-order batsman, provided the kick at the end of the innings, spanking a 50-ball 66 and boosting India to 315.

New Zealand never looked like reaching the target despite their top-order batsmen making entertaining cameos. Opener Kane Williamson top-scored with 67 while wicketkeeper Bradley Cachopa offered some resistance with a breezy 42. Offspinner Sumit Sharma was the most effective with three wickets while fast bowler Vijaykumar Yo Mahesh, left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja and legspinner Piyush Chawla scalped two wickets apiece.
