No doubt it is agreat innings by Sachin and Rohit. Hope Sachin in Indian team for some more years to encourage youngsters by this kind of batting exhibition. one cannot forget the bowlers work in this match also. Word to Indian team is that dont take this victory to your as usual but try to win the next match to achieve the laurels.

Rohit Sharma is the next Dravid of Indian team... Hands off to sachin and dhoni... Praveen Kumar is an excellent bowler in the last overs... Indian cricket future is bright..

When Ponting was hit on the helmet by a LEGITIMATE bouncer by Javagal Srinath (for which Srinath apologised), he used some angry words against Srinath and asked him to go back and bowl. Compare that to what happened with Lee beamer to Sachin. What a fantastic player and a human being Sachin is. He just shook Lee's hands without even making any angry face. The whole cricketing community has so much to learn from Sachin, both on and off the field.

Master Blaster at works. Sachin had mentioned that there would be no match in Adelaide to an Aussie fan, looks like he was already planning it to wrap up 2/0. This was a treat to watch his execution especially the 4s behind Gilchrist:) Expecting nothing less on tues

Tendulkar innings was the superb innings yesterday. Such innings from Tendulkar came after a long time. Tendulkar should play like this. He should take time in the early overs even though the target is 280 plus. He can accelerate the innings later on. We can't also forget the Utthappa's and Rohit's innings. The openings partnership between Tendulkar and Utthappa was crucial and later on partnership between Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma. We also can't forget the job done by the bowlers taking early wickets of Adam Gilchrist, Ponting and Michael clarke.

It was nice to seeIndias victory in the CB first final with Sachins outstanding batting ...I wonder if there would be any other batsman to watch of such great master blaster after Sachins retirment or his exit from cricket.Probally we may see much from Rohit Sharma a perfect mentally prepared cricketer if he keeps his cool and his fame in his pocket.Well Yuvraj is one other but sorry to say totally unconstructive and looses concentration too fast...he has all the ability but unconsistent....not that he is going trough bad patch like great Sachin or Dravid its just mere carelesness I wish he learns quick and be the future for India

Its been a long long time since Team India put up a performance that was simply perfect. We may have given 20 runs too many but the fielding and then the batting was near perfect. The fans could not have asked for more. Then the 'Sachin' century. What a player! From now on his most avid critic will have to leave him alone. Lets not forget the role played by Rohit Sharma in the win.He played the perfect foil to Tendulkar & made the task that much easier.A wonderful prospect for the future. It was a partnership between the present & future of Indian Cricket. No doubt about young Rohit,he has been improving a lot. The way he batted and gave a much needed stand to Sachin was showing nothing but his growing maturity. I think everybody out there is very well impressed by him. Good luck to him for his bright future..

This is an excellent win, but if India lose the next game, they will also lose the final game. They tend to peak too early and wilt in big games. I'll of course be very happy to be proven wrong. I am expecting Australia to come back with a much more "Australia-like" performance in the next game. India needs to play better in the next game to win it.

It was a great move to bring in Piyush Chawla. He did really well along with Harbhajan. We need one more win and then MSD can apply to be the king of India. May be we should bring in Sehwag or Munaf Patel for Brisbane in place of one of the spinners. I'd also like to see Tiwari or Raina in place of Uthappa for one of the remaining two games.
