The SCG test was truly an amazing one that went down to the wire. Unfortunately it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Sure we were at the wrong end of many decisions but to say that we would have won or saved the game other wise is speculating. Yes we got some rotten decisions but there were lbw decisions against Sachin and LAXMAN that went our way but the Indian media will never mentioned that as they have been playing on the emotions of the cricket loving public. In all the chaos of the SCG match and what followed after we must realise on thing that we again failed to bat out to save a match on the last day. 7 mins and two overs to go and three wickets in hand surely we can play out a part time bowler like Michael Clarke. Also for all who feel that we get all the bad decisions there were more decisions that went our way in Perth and Adelaide. So it does even out eventually and in this case it did in the same series.

The Third test at Perth was truly one of India's best win overseas. To come back from all that had happened in Sydney and also after we were completely written off was truly awesome. Again we showed the oppostion that we were up for the battle by wining the toss and batting like we had done on a green top in headingly a few years back. It was a great match where every player chipped in with bat ball and fielding at different times in the game.
It was sad to see a dangerous precendent set by the ICC by replacing Steve Bucknor on the BCCI insistence. He actually got fewer wrong decisions than Benson at the SCG. Also as Indians we feel that he is against us as he has given a few wrong decisions in the past against us but do remember it was only last year that he saved us in the LORDS test by not giving Sreesanth out before it rained. Also we did not see England complain about that so we must learn to accept the decisions graciously as they do even out in the long run.

My views on what has been a fasicinating series between bat and ball watched by millions of fans in both Australia & India.
Before the series started and being Indian there is always that worry when we travel abroad as to how well our team will perform. As a neutral I was convinced that this would be one of the best series ever even better than the 2000-01 India Australia series and also the Ashes 2005. Also after the Melbourne disaster I was sure that the series would be evenly fought as I knew we were poor starters with the bat and also I felt that the bowlers had showed that they were up for the challenge as they bowled well at the MCG.
Will follow with my comments on the SCG and Perth test
